Where Is The High Pressure Service Port On A 2006 Dodge Stratus
Ok, offset are yous talking nigh the A/C Compressor itself or the controls inside the vehicle?
this guide will help
https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-air-conditioner-not-working-or-is-weak
If talking about Compressor it could perhaps exist the Relay.
If talking nigh the fan control (howdy, med and depression) it could exist the Blower Motor Resistor.

Well thats information technology im not sure what is wrong with it because when the air conditioner is running it blows out good common cold air and the controls up front end work skilful every bit far equally low medium and high. It just shuts off while were driving downwardly the road while I have the ac set on high. But while the air-conditioning isnt working the heater doesnt work either. U tin kinda feel cold air through the air vents as you bulldoze downwards the road but other than that information technology kind of just works when it wants to.

My heater isn't working properly. Information technology will merely blow out oestrus when I am accelerating. If I slow downwardly or stop information technology will blow out cold air. I was wondering what could be wrong?

Check your coolant level. If it is where it is supposed to be, you may desire to replace your thermostat.

I have a 2002 Dodge Stratus ii.4, dohc. The air conditioner only blows hot air out of the defrost even when I accept the **** turned to blow out the anxiety on the face. I used to be able to hitting the control head and it would start working and at present that doesn't work at all. I was hoping it would just exist the control caput ( I estimate that's what it's chosen, the thing where the ****south are) then I could just go to the junk yard and get that part. Any suggestions?

You lot shold get a pro to put a set of guages on the organisation. You lot may take a leak and accept no freon. Then become information technology checked out to make sure it's the command caput. Information technology could be a fuse/relay, etc. You don't want to put coin in to things and then it doesn't piece of work. It costs yo more in the long/brusk run.

I have a 2001 Dodge Stratus SE. My ac/estrus will only work on high. What's the trouble?

If your talking about your fan speed. Then what your problem is the switch is burnt out (switch is congenital into control.) Pretty common for chyrsler products.

I read Jess' respond to the a/c & fan only working on loftier.I take the same problem with my '02 Dodge Stratus. Is changing this switch within the control something the boilerplate shadetree mechanic can practise, or should it be left to the professionals?

Id like to think an boilerplate backyard mech. Could gear up it. If u dont listen learning new things. Myself fixing things have been trail & error, non being scared of request? And useing repair manuals. Ive found using HAYNES repair manuals work actually well. & I just came accross a website world wide web. Alldatadiy. Com
For online manuals. Havent used them myself all the same but information technology might exist worth a shoot.
This new part is going to a dealer part. Ive just check the below website and the function isnt in that location. Wellgood luck.

I accept a 2001 4cyl. Stratus. The ac and heat only work on the high setting. Also, the CD player has stopped working and the radio hesitates to come on and change stations. Can someone tell me what is incorrect and is it complicated to set.

I am not a mechanic, but accept worked my cars for years and I am still learning, especially with all the new.
I recall you should check the A/C and heating control panel for default, since it simply works on high settings.
You can probably notice one at a depression cost parts house.
The CD/radio, hey you can buy low cost CD players all twenty-four hours long, I would just replace, considering yous probably pay too much to accept the stock CD player repaired.

An easy fix to your a/c & heat working but on Hullo is your blower motor resistor. It has cipher to practice with your controls - I have replaced three-iv resistors in my 98. Its located on the passenger side along side the blower motor. Theres two screws and a wiring harness on information technology. I ended up having to supercede my blower motor besides, because it was getting also old, and creating resistance, thus blowing the resistor for a while.
As far equally your radio. Ive known a few people with this trouble also, and we could never find a fix.
Good luck!

Air Conditioning problem
2001 Dodge Stratus 4 cyl Forepart Wheel Drive Automatic
My Air Conditioner in my machine has recently stopped working in the low position. Nevertheless it does work on the medium high to loftier what causes this problem and is it relatively cheap to gear up? Does it also require professional work to be done?

No yous tin can gear up it yourself. Get to your friendly Dodge Chrysler Jeep dealer and ask for blower resistor pack. They know what you need. They sell them past the dozens every day. Locate the blower motor behind your glove compartment, the resistor pack sits just next to the blower motor. My good friends at stratusphere. The states fifty-fifty had a write-up for it.

My stratus a/c will run for about xv to twenty seconds when I starting time plough on the a/c switch then the compressor turns off for virtually a minute or 2 so runs for 15 to 20 seconds again. It will keep doing this and I can feel a little cool air from the vents at first simply not much. I accept checked the charge and it is inside normal range when the compressor is running only information technology won't run long enough to get a real authentic reading. When I get-go start the auto in the morn the a/c volition run much longer and I tin feel the difference in the air from the vents but then it starts the short cycles again. I have been trained in automotive repair but have non worked on whatsoever of the newer cars in over fifteen years so I am familiar with the operation but non the specifics on this model.

Yeah pressure level volition read high while the clutch is engaged merely. Believe me there is not enough pressure level in the organisation, which means at that place is a leak somewhere, simply if your high pressure switch is bad and then it will mimic your scenario. Check the pressure when the air conditioning is on loftier and the clutch is engaged and and then sentinel the force per unit area go down when the clutch disengages. If the pressure doesn't go downwards when it disengages, then its your pressure switch.

AC works for nigh 30 seconds, blows cold air, so blows hot air similar from outside (FL), for about 3 minutes. And then common cold for another 30 seconds. Take already inverse a clogged piece in the ac organisation, establish one of the cooling fans not working, replaced both. Still not helping. HELP !
